Is Politics the final destination?

I am really happy for all the successful politicians in Uganda but am a bit confused here. My question is a simple – is politics the final destination for all accomplished people here in Uganda? Because really, I am seeing many gifted people who have made big names in different fields all running to politics. What’s the fuss behind politics? What’s really the big secret? When I look at Uganda’s politics all I see is a field of corruption, dirty tricks and empty promises. But when I see artists especially musicians running to politics it really scares me. It is like seeing a baby play with a poisonous snake. I don’t know if it is any of my business but I am really worried that a time will come when all of our talented people have lost themselves into politics – what then shall we remain with, vultures?
