I must be a lucky person. This is because in my parish at Piida Namasuba, I am one of the only 200 people who got to be re-registered in the new NRM register.
The secretary of NRM in our area, told me that although he had more than 3000 registered members in the past, this time around he was given only one book that had total space of 900 members along with only 200 cards.
My dear NRM, could what Brigadier Kasirye Gwanga predicted on television that NRM would fail even in registration be coming to pass? If we can’t register our members, how can we then conduct successful elections?
It is my humble request to our Secretary General Hon Kasule Lumumba that if she is finds problems to register embers, she should just pay the Mbabazis so they can produce the old register.
