Miss Africa beauty queen who is also the reigning miss Uganda Quinn Abenakyo has every reason to smile after the successful launch of her philanthropic enterprise- the Quinn Abenakyo foundation.

President Yoweri Museveni who was the chief guest at the launch pledged UGX120m towards the foundation, which seeks to end child marriages and fight teenage pregnancies in Uganda.
It was also greatly thanks to the strong support, mentorship and patronage of the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga who is its patron, that Abenakyo foundation managed to attract big shots including the Queen of Buganda Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda and several politicians and members of the business community.
The strong start of the Abenakyo Foundation will not only benefit the founder but go a long way in keeping the legacy of Uganda’s first miss Africa long after her beauty has faded.
