Singer Rema Namakula yesterday pulled off a memorable ‘kwanjula’  introduction ceremony of her fiance Dr. Hamza Ssebunnya that was characterised by glitz, bliss, grandeur, royalty, publicity and largess and glamour.

Covered live by several TV outlets, Namakula introduced her new fiance to her parents in a lavish ceremony at a posh residence in Nabbingo along Masaka road, thanks to the huge participation of Kampala’s rich club Kwagalana.

In popstar fashion, Dr. Ssebunnya arrived in an open roof luxury car and splashed cash to crowds that thronged the road. A mini-truck that accompanied him was seen dishing out loaves of bread which all added to the excitement that surrounded the event.

The ceremony was graced with the presence of the Queen of Buganda (Nabagereka) Sylvia Nagginda along with several royals from Buganda Kingdom. Numerous other showbiz artists graced the event that was defined  by tight security to control uninvited guests.
