The real value for the host country, of a major conference such as the ongoing 64th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference is the flexibility in the programme that allows participants to spend some money.
Delegates at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (#64cpc2019) that is taking place at Speke Resort Munyonyo, have had a fantastic time outside of conference walls in Munyonyo to experience Uganda’s vast beauty.
As seen from beautiful shots taken, a number of CPC delegates have had a field day today visiting major attractions such as the Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo, Bulange and the Royal Mile at Mengo, the seat of Buganda Kingdom. Delegates have also been as far as Buyende district where they climbed Kagulu hill as well as in Mpigi where they stopped at the Uganda Equator.
It was a beehive of activity actually at Kagulu where hundreds of delegates swarmed the rural area as they prepared to embark on a historic climb.
A number of delegates have actually been out already with some having been as far as the Murchison Falls where they experienced awe at the sheer number of wildlife.
