Uganda Young Democrats and people movement activists Moses Bigirwa has on Friday 4th been charged and remanded to Luzira

Moses Bigirwa is charged with inciting violence and giving false information about the NRM government that it planned to Kill Bobi wine during the Fracas that occurred during Arua by-election.

Bigirwa was arrested on December 29th 2018 after a radio talk show and detained at Kawempe police station.

While addressing journalist, his lawyer Samuel Muyizzi Mulindwa says the incarceration of his client after a week was unconstitutional and expects that court will provide Justice to Moses Bigirwa

“It’s a bit extraordinary since there is no objection from the start, the circumstances didn’t need much money to do “he said

He added that he trusts the honorable court to offer Justice to Bigirwa since the matter of bail application lies in the desk of the trial magistrate

Emmanuel Sserunjogi Mayor Kawempe division said that what transpired in court has surprised him much as they had a successful battle of producing Bigirwa before court.

“I am sure it was not a wish of the police and army to keep Bigirwa in confinement for a week but at least due to pressure he has been produced before court” he explained

According to the law development court Magistrate, Rosslyn Nsenge hearing of the case against Moses Bigirwa will start on 9th, January 2019.
