Sheikh Dr Ismail Kalule who was whisked away by unknown gunmen from his clinic along Rashid Hamish road on Sunday 20th in Kampala has on Thursday released from detention by the internal Security organization. (ISO)

Dr Ismail Kalule says he was interrogated about the efficiency of his medicine and work as a health worker.

“Unlike last time, this time I was not mistreated and tortured. They just interrogated me about my medicine that they confiscated’ Dr Ismail narrated

He further added that he thinks some of the reason why he is still being trailed by security agencies yet he was acquitted of all charges is based on the wrangle and misunderstanding amongst Muslims leaders and sects,

Dr Ismail said there are some misunderstanding among Muslims from Nakasero and Kiwatule mosques, so his rivals used the chance to convey wrong information to the security organs

” They didn’t ask me much however my drugs were confiscated” he added

Sheikh Ismail Kalule was among people who were battling with charges of terrorism of 2010 Kampala bombing. However, he was acquitted of all charges by high court judge Moses Mukiibi

According to Dr Ismail Kalule said before he was apprehended, he could receive mysterious calls from different unknown people threatening him

The Sheikh said this time he was not tortured the only problem was that he was detained in seclusion.
