Engineer Andrew Kitaka Mubiru
Following the official handover of Jennifer Musisi on December 15th after seven years of service, the Minister for Kampala Capital City Authority Betty Olive Namisango Kamya has appointed engineer Andrew Kitaka as the new acting Executive Director of KCCA.
Since it is the president’s duty to appoint the executive director and directors of KCCA, Kamya revealed that Kitaka’s appointment has been decided to ensure consistent execution of duties within the city.
‘I have assigned the duties of the Executive Director to Eng. Andrew Kitaka Mubiru, who is substantively the Director Engneering and Technical Services KCCA.’
In her communication, she urged KCCA staff to concentrate on their performance for the benefit of the Nation.
Meanwhile, Mr Samuel Serunkuma is to continue carrying out duties of the Deputy Executive Director KCCA until a substantive one is appointed.
