Six students of Kampala International University (KIU) perished in a road accident on Yesterday, Saturday evening along the Kampala-Gulu highway.
The accident happened at Kakooge in Nakasongola district along the Kampala – Gulu highway when a commuter taxi that was carrying 13 of them rammed into another taxi.
The students were returning from a wedding party for one of their colleagues when the hit an ongoing vehicle at Kakooge at around 10PM.
According to social media posts by KIU students, majority of the deceased as well as those who survived the accident, belonged to the KIU Banyarwanda Students Association. The deceased include the Association’s President
