The awe- inspiring East African Arts market (Doadoa) that started with impressive performances on 1st May 2019 at Zone7 ended with a full house at Design hub on 4th May leaving partiers yearning for more.

The show started at 8:pm with Daniel Omara as the MC, the audience’s ribs were not spared as each joke followed the other and you could tell even before the artistes’ performance that a great night was just seconds away.

Uganda’s Afrie, Sandara Ssuubi and Kenya’s Ambasa Mandela as the night’s performers, you could tell what awaited the night

The show started with Afrie and her Afriedom band. She spread the Art through songs like Askari,Yodi, go to school and others. Her multi- genre energetic presentation could not leave the audience seated in one place.

Afrie’s performance was followed by Kenya’s Ambasa who was also the man of the night. His sizzling poetic performances gave the audience the Kenyan experience and you could feel that culture was truly represented in his Reggae, Rnb and contemporary music.

Uganda’s Sandra Ssuubi was the last to act with a love and spiritual (Mwoyo) performances. Her Togwaamu Ssuubi touched many souls and for a moment, we were in praise and worship. Sandra also sang her love jams which left lovers in the hub contemplating.

The audience consisted of art lovers, supporters, producers, promoters and festival organisers from different countries. Art was exposed and it sold out.
