Uganda Film Festival 2018: full list of award gala night winners

The Uganda Film Festival (UFF) which aims at awarding outstanding film creations in the country, was held at Serena Hotel Kampala Friday, November 30.

The award gala, was the culminating event of the week-long festival that was marked by several activities including film screenings, film exhibition market, workshops, training among others.

Veronica’s Wish was the biggest winner in the evening. A movie directed by Rehema Nanfuka, telling the story of a woman who struggles with love after she is diagnosed with a terminal illness.

The movie scooped nine awards including Best Feature Film, Best Cinematography, and Best Screen Play, among others.
