Ever heard of the old saying that men are like wine? True, men are like wine and they get better with age. The fact is that their experiences in life, at work and in previous relationships have taught them a lot of life lessons to make their situation better than before.
They are more mature now to understand that things don’t always happen the way they want them to and so they are more understanding and patient with their partners. This is usually not the case with young men.
Experience has shown that mature men know what they want and they go for it. They are very confident and so they carry themselves very well especially in public. They are generally well-mannered. They have been to several places in the past and so they know a lot of things about other cultures. Older men are also better when it comes to handling their finances.
They have lived long enough to be self-sufficient and to know how to handle their money very well. Most of them have earned every penny through hard work and they wouldn’t spend it carelessly on things that don’t count. This is the opposite for young men.
As women look for a fatherly figure for a life partner, they ought to know that sometimes a man’s age is not proportional to his responsibility, commitment, wisdom, ability to protect and provide for you, nor his maturity.
There are plenty of 50 year old boys and toddlers. Don’t let their jobs, money, or fancy titles fool you; they’re just big for their age. On the other hand, there are 20-something’s that possess the very father figure traits that you are looking for.
You just have to be careful and notice them. What a woman wants is a reliable, caring, respectful, supportive and loving and ambitious man of any age.
While we are looking at young women dating old men we cannot forget that old women are also dating young men. Now these age-gap relationships are on the rise with more women also choosing to date significantly younger men. Older women who have previously been married are now more likely to seek out a younger partner than an old one.
In most cultures, traditionally, it was acceptable for a man to have a relationship with a younger woman, while the opposite was frowned upon. But with the sexual revolution and women now more inclined to stand their ground, the line between what’s acceptable for men and what’s acceptable for women is becoming blurred.
Both men and women are looking for particular qualities in their partners. A woman would go for a man with such qualities regardless of the age. The same applies to men. It is only by coincidence that the qualities one may be looking for may land them onto people in another age bracket which is okay.
We are now moving into a society that has no business with people’s ages besides the Prophet of Islam Muhammad (SAW) who is supposed to be an example to Muslims (half of the worlds population, married a woman much older than him and since then many have decided to emulate him and are are happy.
