A one young man Fredrick Kadoko alias T.Max is reportedly in hiding for reasons yet to be revealed with insiders indicating that he was earlier arrested with a one Nakabele Tony over homosexuality earlier in march 2014.
Security sources indicate that Kadoko bolted from the country allegedly in 2014 after rumor started spreading that he had been caught pants down with popular football coach in Bwaise, engaging in same sexual orgies.
Sources from family and friends revealed to this paper that ever since Kadoko was nabbed by authorities in a rented house in Bwaise a Kampala Suburb, Then a singer in upcoming group called Zone 8 is apparently off the musical scene with reports that he fled the country to yet unidentified destination after learning that he was being pursued by Police and local authorities.
Impeccable sources also suggest that Kadoko was for long involved in same sex relationship with then popular sports man Chris Mubiru of local club sports club villa who had been then arrested and jailed at state maximum prison Luzira.
A worried family member indicates that Kadoko’s home and homes of family members have been searched on several occasions with yet his whereabouts to be confirmed.
A member of Kadoko’s Family who seek anonymity revealed that one family member noted that “Our family can no longer contain a person of Kadoko’s character and fear seeing her recruiting other family members into Homosexuality”
The absence of Kadoko, whose whereabouts are unknown, comes on the heels of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, 2009 that was passed by parliament of Uganda.
Discrimination
In Uganda, homophobia has been widespread since the prohibition of homosexuality in the 1950s. But it wasn’t until February that president Yoweri Museveni signed a law that not only outlawed homosexual acts, but also compelled citizens to report suspected homosexual activity to the police, triggering increased levels of prejudice, violence and discrimination against the gay community.
