Forget about the prevailing beauty contests in the city this time round a private organisation My Culture and Beauty has launched the highly anticipated Miss and Mr Culture Varsity Edition Season 3 to be held on September 5th, 2015 at Ggaba Beach Hotel

The event will involve new categories and an exciting search tour that will be held in over 25 Universities and Tertially institutions, for the first time.

Miss and Mr Culture event is an annual cultural and modeling contest that aims at showcasing Fashion, addressing Cultural trends amongst youth and addressing the issue of unemployment in Uganda.

This year’s theme is; “Through Culture we can Learn and be Entertained for development” and will involve a search for a Miss and Mr Culture who will not only be labeled beautiful and handsome but also cultural loving and innovative.

This Year’s categories will include Miss and Mr Culture, Fashionista, Varsity Face and Miss Learner

Through this contest, there will be a search for both Male and Female University students of between 18 and 25 years of age who are cultural loving fashionstas and can be able to make it happen by exploiting their talents.

The winners will be crowned at a ceremony sufficient of splendor and opulence in Kampala at Ggaba Beach Hotel on 5th September.

At the event cultural, stake holders like fashion Designers, Fashion schools, Banks and the business community will be given a chance to exhibit their products

Andrew Katunguka from Kampala University Main campus is the reigning Mr Culture, and The Miss is Gertrude Najjuuko from Luweero based Kampala University. The two won Hard cash and electronic appliances that included 42’ inch flat TVs.

Prizes to be won will include hard cash, electronic appliances, and job contracts for The Miss and Mr among others
