“Those are political appointees, that is what one of the leaders of Uganda Artists and Performers Association said when he was asked to comment about the appointment of Balaam and Kyagulanyi as advisors to the government on matters musical.

The former ‘Gudlyfe’ and Golden Band Eagles members also ‘dissed’ Balaam who they said is used to exploiting musicians and has ‘beef’ with many musicians.

They claim that the government should have their association to nominate names so that they can represent the musicians, not just ‘hand pick’ people and impose on them, will they work, or not, a question only time will tell.
