Singer Ssali gets boost to his humanitarian campaign
Artist Hytham Ssali Muserebende is yet another unsung hero with a golden heart that beyond his vocal supremacy, his efforts are deeply sunk into charity and human rights.
Muserebende who is a roots folk pop world music artist and humanitarian activist with a passion for charity is reportedly a father to hundreds of disadvantaged souls who he helps physically through paying school dues, dressing , feeding among others.
Just like an old “Luganda” sentiment (emeeme egabagaba egejja) “ literally lauding people who give back to others ” Ssali has found trust from Ugandans in Diaspora under their Umbrella (NRM Diaspora) who have vowed to uphold his mission.
It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving” quoting Mother Teresa the chairman NRM Diaspora wing Assimwe Patrick noted that they have come up to boost Ssali’s mission dubbed Heal the pain of African child given the fact that he has a great obligation to save and help a number of disadvantaged Ugandan children.
Assimwe a Ugandan who live in United Kingdom explained that the agenda of the NRM Diaspora Community is to solicit for both Physical and monitory Funding that can thrust Muserebende’ Little Tammy Foundation.
Ssali’s incredible movement was also hailed by other members from the Diaspora who include Sserwadda Enock (Zambia), Robert Kageme (UK) , Bashir Farouk Musisi (South Africa) and veteran Journalist Moses Kimuli (UK) who promised not only to solicit for funding but also push to develop Muserebende’s Music .
Assimwe offered a cash donation of 100 pounds meant to help Muserende acquire scholastic materials for Tongolo orphanage and Hilltop Junior School Mbiko.
Muserebende is has songs like Heal the pain of African child, Njabala , Kiiri Omulangira and he currently performs at Jazz-ville Bugoloobi every Friday.
