Singer and song-writer Jackie Akello will be unveiling her maiden album titled Akello Music in a Live Solo show at Pyramids in Kampala on the 27th August 2016.

Speaking to The Sunrise on Phone Akello explained that she will be performing all her numbers in a marvelous show dubbed “ Unveiling Akello.

Akello who unveiled her talent two years ago has recorded a couple of Afro-Acholi Ballads that saw her rise to stardom

In her early twenties, Akello has performed with several musicians who include Lillian Mbabazi for whom she acted as back-up singer in a couple of songs that include ‘Vitamin’ among others.

Akello has worked on a few projects with Maurice Kirya and she is the main character in Kirya’s famed video “Busabaala” as Sylvia. She has also worked with names like Suzan Kerunen and Myco Ouma.

Besides music, Akello happens to be a self made Fashionsta designed by top city fashion House Zirian Miss Fix It. She loves “Kitengi” like attires and Afro- fabrics.

Together with Levixone one of the youngest Urban Gospel Artistes in Uganda, Jackie Akello released her single titled “Samanya”, literally meaning ‘I did not know’.
