Club Chairman Asan Kasingye has appealed to “The Cops” to remain focused and aim at the club’s objectives to revive past glory.
Kasingye made the appeal while receiving the official kits for the forthcoming season from CEO Fahad Lumu at Police headquarters in Naguru on Tuesday.
“I’m calling upon our players to remain united and focused on our main objectives of reviving club glory,” said Kasingye.
“I also wish to appreciate the hard work exhibited by all parties involved in Police Football Club despite the Covid 19 situation,” he added
The Chairman revealed that irrespective of the challenges brought by the Coronavirus pandemic, the club has continued to show progress as it prepares for the coming season.
“The club has become better without even kicking the ball in terms of organization, equipment and welfare for the players i.e. salaries without gate collections.
On receiving jersey, the AIGP couldn’t hide his excitement and called upon all fans and well wishers to buy the replicas from selected shops and other selected selling points.
“I’m happy to have been given this very good jersey and I call upon all club fans to buy these replicas of our jerseys. Those who want names on can be arranged.”
