“I explained to the president that my music does not attack his leadership, they had to screen my music which didn’t have any abusive words.”

At Mestil hotel, Singer Eddy Kenzo called the press to enlighten the public on the conversation he had with the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

President Yoweri Museveni invited Kenzo for a meeting where the president congragulated Kenzo on winning his recent award that he got from Colombia.

Kenzo said that he could not turn down the president’s invitation and explained that the president promised to financially help him with his music.

” President Museveni is a leader and he must be respected leadership comes from God, he called me and I had to go meet him though people took thought otherwise.”

“I explained to the president that my music does not attack his leadership, then they had to screen my music which didn’t have any abusive words.”

Kenzo revealed that he will never campaign for Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and will never to step on any platform to convince people to vote for Bobi Wine.

“Mr. Kyagulanyi is my friend but I will never ampaign for him. I will support and vote for him but won’t campaign for him. I will never jump onto any platiform to convince people for him unless he himself convincs the people of what he is capable of doing,”

Kenzo also promised to attend Rema’s wedding if invited in good faith.

His ex-fiance, Rema Namakula introduced her new catch Dr Hamza Sebunya to her guardians early October where the public relations officer of Kibuli Muslim Sect, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte insulted Africa’s top singer. Muzaata has since refused to apologise to Kenzo.

Kenzo and Rema have a daughter out of their relationship and this daughter was present as her mother introduced Dr. Sebunya.
