TodayIn exactly 55 minutes, technical officers, government officials, and media shall be in Nairobi on the inaugural flight of Uganda Airlines which shall take place tomorrow Tuesday 27th August, 2019.
According to Susan Kataike the spokesperson of Ministry of Works, the flight will depart from Entebbe Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 10am.
The inaugural flight is set a day ahead of their scheduled resumption date.
On Wednesday, the country shall witness its maiden commercial flight to Nairobi, with scheduled flights to Juba and Mogadishu having set the pace.
The Airline will take off at 6:00 am and will reach Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 7:15 am as it starts business on the lucrative Nairobi route on Wednesday.
Uganda Airlines is expected to give travelers on the busy Nairobi route options, and will also have the only direct flight to Mogadishu, in Somalia.
The announcement for change of the maiden flight was made by ministry of Works, via a tweet on Sunday.
