Your choice of profession can ruin your marriage

Any sister out there looking for a husband but in vain, you have got to know that your career choice may be the reason no one has asked for your hand in marriage yet.

This is alongside physical attraction and emotional compatibility.  Leave alone being a career woman, there are professions that will not allow a woman become a good wife or a man become a good husband.

Generally speaking most men will be reluctant to marry career women on ground that they never make good wives. Therefore social scientists advise you to keep away from these women. If these scientists are to be ignored, you run a higher risk of having a rocky marriage.

While everyone knows that marriage can be stressful, recent studies have found that professional women are more likely to get divorced, more likely to cheat and less likely to have children. And if they do have kids, they are more likely to be unhappy about it. A recent study in Social Forces, a research journal, found that women are happier when their husband is the primary breadwinner.

But this still applies to both men and women. If you are intending to marry a musician or a celebrity in the same line better think again. Music, sports, and movie celebrities who are married need a lot of discipline to remain faithful to their spouses because their fans love and adore them dearly.

Some fans go to great lengths to get their favorite celebrity’s autographs while some would do anything to meet the celebrities in person.

All this attention and adoration can quickly get to the heads of these celebrities, to the extent that they neglect their spouses. Furthermore, these professions require a lot of time and commitment, and an individual might feel as if his or her spouse is pulling them down because they keep demanding attention.

Be careful as you marry a psychiatrist and psychologist because these can be very difficult people to be married to as they will tend to treat their spouses like their patients, and consider their spouses as the ones with the problem; never themselves. It is also possible for a psychiatrist or a psychologist to manipulate his or her spouse because he or she has the training needed to get into people’s heads, a situation that can be very disturbing to a spouse.

From experience nothing can be compared to relaxing at the spa after a hard day at work with your favorite masseuse or masseur massaging every inch of your body. It is possible for you to fall in love with your massage therapist, because the experience you get in his or her arms is just out of this world. Rubbing oil and massaging someone’s naked body is sure to arouse some feelings in you, especially if you find them attractive. If a client shares the feelings of attraction with his or her massage therapist, then little can be done to prevent the infidelity that is about to happen. Therefore marrying a message therapist is that tricky.

If your partner is a dancer you need to know this. Dancing requires a high level of team work, time, deep emotions, and physical contact, qualities that can make dancers develop feelings for each other despite their marital status. As the audiences enjoy what they see on stage, the dancers are probably breaking down on the inside because they have serious relationship problems that have the potential to end their marriages.

As we discuss professions that are likely to make marriages collapse we cannot down play the fact some people in these very professions can surprisingly maintain successful marriages and live happily with their spouses.  Sometimes it goes back to someone’s character and not just the profession.
