Commissioner of Uganda police officer Josephine Kakooza has died at Nimirembe hospital in the early morning Wednesday 9th, January 2019
Josephine was rushed to the hospital after suffering from hypertension attack but unfortunately passed on.
The deceased was born on 8th June, 1955 at Villa Maria hospital in Masaka to Theodore Namutebi Kakooza and Joseph Kakooza a former Buganda county chief
Josephine Kakooza joined the force in 1969 and was among the first women to join Uganda Police in the post-colonial era.
Josephine was the director of Uganda police Band and she is credited to be one of the longest serving officers.
