One shot in City Operation

At least one person was shot and dozens arrested as security hunted for suspected notorious city criminals in Kampala city suburbs on Sunday evening.

The victim was identified as Juma Kagame, a resident of Kisenyi, Muzaana Zone, in Kampala Central.

The Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) spokesperson, Brig. Richard Karemire confirmed the incident and said, the matter is under investigation.

In other developments, police in Kasangati detained a one Beatrice Nakimuli over the weekend for the third time this year over the continued failure to disclose the whereabouts of his son, a one Ronald Mawejje.

Ronald, together with Richard Sserunkuuma is alleged for having engaged in gay-related activities. It is said that the two were caught having sex by the residents in june 2017. The whereabouts of the two is still unknown.

Officials who seek anonymity further disclosed that police is hunting for the two for having used a youth organisation called Nangabo Youth network to influence the youth into homosexuality in Kasangati Wakiso. You can contact the nearby police in case you have any information about their whereabouts.
