BET award winner Eddy Kenzo and Uganda’s superman Ykee Benda could not help but beat other artistes to the top 2018 AFFRIMA awards.

Many Ugandans believe Kenzo’s talent is luck based but the world sees a big talent in him. This time round Kenzo scooped the Best Male East African Artist while Ykee Benda won the Best New Comer Artist 2018.

Excited about their achievements, the duo took their joy to social media platforms thanking their fans for supporting them.

“Team Eddy Kenzo thank you for the hustle guys!!! We have made 256 proud….,” Kenzo posted. He also congratulated Ykee Benda for scooping the best new comer award.

Benda also sent a congratulatory message to Kenzo and Uganda at large using one of his social media platforms.

“UGANDA……we did it…..Congrats my brother Eddy Kenzo……I can’t stop crying while I thank Him for not letting me down…..it can only be God,” the Budumbu singer posted.
