The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released time tables for the three sets of national examinations for 2017.
These are the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UAC) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education.
According to UNEB Executive Secretary Dan Odongo, UCE candidates will be the first to sit
for the first set of exams slated to kick off on October 13th with the briefing of candidates and will go on until November 20th.
PLE pupils will be the next on November 2nd and 3rd.
While Senior six candidates will start their exams with briefing on October 10th through to December 5th.
Odongo has cautioned candidate against exam malpractice as this will lead to cancellation of their results.
But the latest report by the Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA) indicates that heavy rains anticipated in October through to November, are likely to interfere with the exams.
