To celebrate June Dairy Month, Fresh Dairy joined the Dairy Development Authority (DDA), from 28th – 29th June 2017 in Masindi for the mass Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive.

It was as part of the CSR activities as the Fresh Dairy milk and milk products donations were handed over to Masindi Hospital, Masindi Army Barracks Primary School and Masindi Army Boarding School, among others, organized at Boma Grounds.

The month of June is dedicated to pay tribute to all the stakeholders along the entire dairy value chain for their contribution towards providing consumers with fresh wholesome milk and milk products. This year’s theme is: “Adopting Technologies for Enhanced Milk production and Consumption”.

Speaking at the festivities, Vincent Omoth, the Marketing Manager Fresh Dairy said that Fresh Dairy plays a major nutritional and health role in providing milk and its related products to consumers, which products contribute to the health of the nation.“As we move in to the future, this year’s dairy month theme resonates with Fresh Dairy’s current status. At Fresh Dairy, our core five pillars revolve around Dairy Development, Quality Control, Processing, Research and Innovation, Our Brands and Our people and the Communities, we operate in.

He said that they had incorporated technology in all these five pillars, an initiative that has enabled Fresh Dairy to meet varying customer needs and preferences through offering them a wide range of products to choose from.

Present at the CSR activities was the DDA  Executive Director, Dr. Jolly Zaribwende.
